Hi, I’m Chelsea Jackson
I’m a BABCP Accredited CBT therapist and NMC Registered Mental Health Nurse.
I work as a Senior Psychological Therapist specialising in CBT within the NHS. I have extensive experience working across NHS mental health services and more recently private practice.
Alongside my NHS role in Paediatric Psychology, I offer a small, carefully held private practice for adults and teens seeking thoughtful, trauma-informed therapy. My work is grounded in evidence-based CBT and shaped by years of supporting people through anxiety, depression, trauma, emotional overwhelm, and significant life changes.
I believe therapy works best when you feel safe, respected, and understood. I offer a calm, steady therapeutic relationship where you can explore your experiences at your own pace — without pressure or judgment.
My approach is collaborative and relational. Together, we work to make sense of what you’re experiencing, develop tools that feel manageable, and support meaningful, sustainable change.

Individual Therapy
Individual therapy offers a dedicated space to explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences in a supportive and confidential setting.
Together, we may work on:
Reducing anxiety and emotional overwhelm
Processing trauma or difficult past experiences
Strengthening self-esteem and self-compassion
Navigating life transitions and stress
Building healthier relationships
Sessions are tailored to your needs and goals, with flexibility and care.
Depression
Felling low?
We will develop a manageable plan to help shift our mood and find our value. Value drive activities as well as combating our thinking or processing a difficult time we can take back control of our depression.
Trauma-Informed Therapy
Trauma can affect how we feel, think, and relate to others — often in ways that aren’t immediately obvious.
I offer trauma-informed care that prioritizes:
Emotional safety
Choice and collaboration
Gentle pacing
Nervous system awareness
We focus on helping you reconnect with yourself and build a sense of stability and empowerment.
Anxiety & Stress Support
If you feel stuck in worry, tension, or constant “fight or flight,” therapy can help you understand what your anxiety is communicating and develop tools to feel more grounded and in control.
